A HIP service rep once told me that HIP decisions are final and there is nothing I can do about it.
North Korea has managed health care also. That’s a country were all decisions are final. Here in the USA it’s arrogant to think you can dictate policy and not expect ramifications. People are dying every day under HIP managed care plans. How many times has an insured died thinking HIP should have done more? How many more will die early because of your restrictions and denial of care. At least in North Korea patients’ don’t realize there’s more that can be done concerning their health care.
Anthony L Watson became a millionaire by changing the medical care environment through managed care policies. Policies that he seems to think gives him the right to interfere with the employment and health care of individuals. Further he has failed miserably in containing costs and has built a bureaucracy based on this managed care.
Finally just because he didn’t take the Hippocratic Oath doesn’t mean he has the right to deny care.
